Game Overview
Shrine Sprint is a tomb-raiding parkour game developed in Unreal Engine 5. Players take on the role of an explorer venturing into a perilous ancient tomb in search of hidden treasures, all while avoiding deadly traps and environmental hazards.
The core objective is to deliver a fast-paced and adrenaline-pumping escape experience. As players delve deeper into the tomb, a massive storm begins to surge from behind, forcing them to race against time and overcome a series of obstacles at high speed.
Additionally, the game features a coin collection system, providing players with a sense of achievement and encouraging further exploration even in the midst of intense escapes.
Key Contributions
Project Management & Core Mechanic Implementation
As the Producer, I led cross-functional collaboration across Blueprint, Art, and Audio teams—coordinating resources, supervising development progress, and ensuring the successful realization of horror gameplay. I oversaw and drove the development of approximately 80% of the game’s core mechanics.
Level Design & Interactive Experience
Designed all game levels, building immersive horror environments and puzzle mechanisms that enhance tension during exploration, chases, and puzzle-solving. Designed player movement routes within levels using terrain layout and lighting to shape the overall gameplay experience.
System Balancing & Narrative Integration
Adjusted gameplay mechanics to align with the game’s narrative, optimizing resource management, camera functionality, and escape strategies. Ensured that the gameplay maintained both mechanical tension and narrative depth throughout the experience.
